Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
